it's Frances here! Welcome to our Weekly Newsletter!

I’m entering this new week with so much gratitude for how last week unfolded. From stepping out of my comfort zone at VCU’s Feedback Friday Pitch Competition to connecting with so many of you at the markets, every moment reminded me how powerful community and purpose truly are. Your encouragement and support keep me grounded and fueled as we continue growing CoCoGin together.

Now, as we flow into this new week, I’m excited to share what’s next new experiences, fresh learning opportunities, and maybe even a cozy fall surprise!

So I Did a Thing..

Last Friday, I had the opportunity to pitch CoCoGin again at VCU’s Shift Retail Lab during the Feedback Friday Pitch Competition and whew, y’all… I was nervous! Aaand I had to go first, but it actually went really well! Congratulations to the winners!

I shared with the community that we’re pursuing growth within CoCoGin working toward launching our very own food trailer as Richmond’s Wellness on Wheels, with hopes to come in 2026. This mobile wellness hub will bring cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and healthy bites directly to neighborhoods and events across RVA and beyond.

Something New Is Brewing…

We’re introducing a new seasonal offering at the markets this weekend we won’t spill all the details just yet, but let’s just say it’s nice, warm, and has a cranberry twist. Come by and be among the first to taste it!

Tuesday: We're restocking at The Market at PPL (Petersburg, VA). Stop by for juice, a wellness shot, and a good book! While you’re there, grab a salad or snack from our friends at I Kale Life, So Salsa, and Pangeon Snacks.

Wednesday: I’ll be attending a Ginger Workshop & Field Day to learn and immerse myself in all things ginger (free event with food provided come join if you’re free!).

What’s Next:

We’re excited to share that CoCoGin will also be participating in VCU’s Demo Day Pitch Competition at the Retail Lab on November 14th, where investors will be in the room! We’d love to have your support in the audience as we continue to grow, learn, and bring this vision to life.
